Martin Korver has loved dogs all his life, and running a dog boarding business, Grandpaws Dog Boarding, is his retirement plan. Korver grew up on the farm where he now hosts up to a dozen canines in the transformed dairy barn, which has been converted into a woodworking shop and dog-boarding facility.

The more-than-nine-acre farm one-and-a-half miles south of Alton offers a quiet, relaxing space for dogs of all sizes.

Daily Rates

We have a set rate of $30 a day per dog.

There is extra cost for additional needs such as medication or extra care needs
